Frances Ryan

Frances Ryan was born in Longford Ireland and currently lives and works in Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. “My practice combines painting, drawing and collage. Re-imagining scenes from memory combined with ongoing observational visual research, each painting is a journey in search of something mysterious, between reality and imagination, which only reveals itself in the final stages of the work.”
