Lauren Egan

Lauren Egan is a Visual Artist from Offaly with a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art and Design. “My practice explores the elements of what is public and private, gender and the body through the lived experience of being an Irish woman. Theoretically my practice is concerned with Lacan’s theory of the symbolic order, representation, the idea of containment, subjectivity and gender politics.”
