Olivia Finn

Olivia Finn was born and grew up in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath. She spent eight years in Galway before moving back home to Kilbeggan in 2006.

“When I see a leaf, I think how can I incorporate this little diving board into a painting. It is important for me to think about everyday things in a new, creative way and find the magical in the mundane. I want to tell a story of love, the environment and social justice so I include little details in my artworks that tell a big story. I encourage the viewer to take a voyage of exploration with me. We live in a surreal world and I try to represent that in my art.”
